The Somnodent is a custom made oral sleep apnoea appliance. It is made up of an upper and separate lower plate, similar to mouthguards that fit perfectly together when the mouth is closed.

How Does Somnodent Work?

Using a titration key to adjust the upper plate, the lower jaw can be gradually moved forward comfortably to open the airway while you sleep. Best of all, treatment is reversible, and can even be used in conjunction with other forms of treatment.

Is Somnodent Comfortable To Wear?

It is non-restrictive and comfortable and allows complete free opening and closing movements of the upper and lower jaws, so you can even speak while it is in place.
