Concerns:
This patient had severe periodontal disease (jaw bone disease) that had progressed to the point that her teeth were really loose and painful to the point that it affected her life in every aspect. It was not possible to save any of her teeth
Solutions:
All her teeth were extracted, some bone grafting was done, and 6 implants were placed in her upper jaw and 5 implants were placed in her lower jaw. Hybrid dentures were made and securely screwed on to the implants so that they were fixed and could not move.
