Fix that Crooked Smile with Invisalign Braces at Sydney's Popular Dentist - TLC Dental
A brilliant smile makes a good first impression. Unfortunately, some smiles need a little more help than others to replicate that Hollywood perfect smile you deserve.Whether you face misalignment from poor jaw development, missing teeth, or crowding due to wisdom tooth eruption, TLC Dental can help you realign those pearly whites for the perfect smile.
Self-Conscious about your Smile?
Many people feel self-conscious when it comes to their smiles; imperfections like crooked teeth, gaps, or alignment issues can exacerbate these feelings.
But aesthetics aren’t the only reason to want a straightened smile. Well-aligned teeth are happier teeth, and this leads to a healthier mouth. Crooked teeth lead to crevices and hiding places for debris and bacteria, leading to cavities, gum disease, and potentially tooth loss. Proper alignment can also alleviate jaw and gum issues.

Traditional Braces vs. Invisalign
When you hear the word “alignment,” what comes to mind? Braces? Many clients who want to improve their smile balk at the idea of traditional braces because they are unsightly and can cause pain, gum irritation, and tooth discolouration. They also put a restriction on what foods you can eat and enjoy, and they are fairly difficult to maintain. For many, all of these costs outweigh the benefit of a beautiful smile.
At TLC Dental, we understand your hesitancy when it comes to traditional braces. Our friendly staff is happy to tell you that you can achieve a well-aligned smile without them! Let’s get you started on the path to a beautiful, confident smile with the modern, discreet solution of Invisalign!
How Does Invisalign Work?
The days of traditional “braces” are nearing an end, and frankly, you deserve a 21st-Century approach to straightening your smile. Invisalign is a clear aligner tray custom created to fit your teeth. Made from BPA-free plastic, this aligner is created from a mould of your current jaw structure. To align your teeth, snap the tray over your teeth to gradually shift them into proper position.
Invisalign can be taken off when you eat, so you don’t need to change your favourite foods or meal plans. All you have to do is ensure that you brush your teeth before re-applying the aligner.
New aligners are created every two weeks, shifting to match the progress your teeth are making. No more tightening wires to shift your teeth, these trays guide them gently as you go about your day. Easy and relatively painless, this treatment can fit any lifestyle. You’ll see visible progress on your journey to a happier smile.

Book Your Teeth Straightening Consultation
Call the team at TLC Dental, and set up an appointment with our licensed dentist. He’ll discuss your goals and oral history to better understand your personal situation. Every patient— and every mouth— is different, and we want to take the necessary steps to better treat your needs.
You will then undergo a dental examination, where your dentist will discuss the current state of your mouth and how Invisalign can help. Once you decide to move forward with treatment, we’ll create a mould of your teeth to send to the lab.
What to Expect During Treatment
You need to wear your aligner for ~22 hours a day, only removing it for eating and cleaning. For best results, remove your aligner when drinking beverages that can stain (e.g. tea, coffee, red wine). We will have you come in for a check-up every 4-6 weeks so that we can evaluate your progress and adjust your trays if needed.
You receive a new set of trays every two weeks. You may experience some discomfort when first switching between aligners, but that will pass as your teeth and gums adjust. Remember to take proper care of your teeth during this process, removing your trays to brush, floss, and rinse.
How Much Does Invisalign Cost?
A popular alternative to traditional braces, Invisalign uses clear aligner trays that are less visible than traditional metal brackets and wires. Since its release (after being approved in 1998), millions of people just like you have used these clear braces over the years to correct their smile, and one of the first questions asked is regarding the cost of Invisalign treatment. The next question might be is there a dentist near me that is certified to offer this type of orthodontic treatment?
Traditional braces range from $4,000 to $10,000, depending on the type of treatment needed. A full treatment with these invisible braces can range from $3,500 to $7,000 and is affected by the following factors:
- How much alignment is required to straighten your teeth.
- How long the treatment is expected to take.
- The number of aligner trays that will be required.
- How closely you can follow the dentist’s recommendations.
- The number of adjustments that are needed.
- How much your dental insurance will cover.
Affordable Payment Plans
- We do offer payment plans to help make this treatment a little easier on your wallet. Ask our front desk when you come in for our orthodontic consultation.
